My Favorite Time of Year

I could go on and on about all that I am thankful for this year, but that would be a never-ending list, and rather boring, so instead you get this...

If you know me at all, you know that one of my favorite day of the year is quickly approaching.

No, not Thanksgiving...BLACK FRIDAY!

My Weight Watchers Point Tracker won't be the only thing getting a workout this week, that's for sure. I train all year for this day (okay, we all know that's a lie--I don't train for anything), but I do take it very seriously.

Unfortunately, there isn't much that I want this year; in fact, the deals kind of suck. Plus, it's rather annoying that the sales start at 8 p.m. on Thursday this year because you can't consecutively hit stores (I'm going to end up with a lot of lag time between store openings).  Nevertheless, you better believe I'll be out there in the crazy crowds fighting for the best DVDs deals!

Oh, and you're crazy if you think I'm sharing my tips with you--it's taken years to perfect our attack!

I hope you have a happy Thanksgiving and an even better Black Friday!

  1. I LOVE going out on Black Friday. However, I was thinking the same thing about the deals not being that great, last year I needed things for our house so I bought tons of stuff at Kohls on sale. I waited in line for 1 hour but it was worth it to save almost $700 bucks! I love Black Friday because it's a tradition between my Mom, sister and I. I still don't know what stores to hit yet though.

  2. I've only been to one black Friday sale before and to only one store. I had my eye on a tv as soon as I got that sucker I was home and in bed--i've always wanted to go all out for it though, it would be a good memory. Have fun!!!

  7. The deals just never seem worth the hour long wait in line.

  8. I went to my very first black Friday! Kohl's was the worst! But I went at midnight, because places were opening at 9pm and I didn't want to deal with that!!!

  11. I missed all the sales this year :( So sad! I normally stay out from like 10PM-5PM at least! The deals on base (in the ONE store...) sucked so I just sat at home all fat and pregnant... maybe going out to fight off the Italians would've put me in labor earlier? lol
