In Oklahoma, choosing a weatherman is like picking a sports team.
You may change the channel on occasion to see how the other team is doing; but ultimately, you only watch one weatherman. Team Gary all the way!
While I love watching tornado coverage, I secretly freak out when the storm gets close to me.
When packing my pansy bag (you know, the bag you take with you to hide from the storms), I not only think about what I NEED with me, but also my most prized posessions.
That's right--this girl is going out in style, wearing ALL of her diamonds and clutching her MacBook. haha
Until next time,

I heard you guys had some scary weather this weekend! I hope it has passed!
ReplyDeleteBahahah! Love it. Glad you were okay and that the storms didn't hit ya too hard! Hopefully it's all over for now... those storms can definitely be scary. The gas station down the street from my parents was pretty much leveled. Crazy stuff!
ReplyDeleteI can't IMAGINE how scary it would be to live in an area where tornadoes are a threat!
ReplyDeleteI packed my external harddrive in our "just in case bag" when we went to my mom's! I completely understand. Luckily we were only without power for an hour-ish. Also, I agree with the weatherman thing. I love me some Dave Freeman!
ReplyDeleteThere was a tornado where I live when I was in 6th grade. The only thing I packed up was my beanie babies collection. Priorities, okay?
ReplyDeleteHaha. I freak out over severe storms too close to me too! I don't know if I could ever live in Oklahoma.
ReplyDeleteOMG I laughed out loud forreal! At least you'll be lookin' good while hiding :) hehehe
