Not remembering a guy's name after having been introduced to him AT LEAST three times (I am horrible with names).
Aforementioned guy awkwardly standing behind me waiting for me to acknowledge his presence, then not walking away after I do so.
Said guy then asking me (in front of several people) to go eat with him after church next Sunday and me not being able to come up with a reason not to, so I said "Umm...(insanely long, awkward pause)...I guess we could do that...I'll see you next Sunday...." Then rushing away.
Having to call multiple people, asking for his name AND phone number so that I could "dump" him.
Wrecking one of the units at work...yeah, I did that...
My new car--I'm absolutely in love :)
Driving with the top all the way open in my new car !
Working with a shop full of guys...there's never a dull moment!
This will definitely be on my next Awkward & Awesome Thursday Post, but I couldn't resist sharing early.
I hit an all new low...for even me--I dumped a guy who I'm not even dating through a TEXT MESSAGE!
Not only did I not have his phone number, I didn't even know his name!!
I actually called people describing the guy and asking for his phone number so that I could cancel our date that I was too kind-hearted to decline in the first place.
Then I didn't want to deal with the awkwardness so I just sent him a text.
I'm not even positive he gets texts, because he never replied.
Let's be real though, what could he have possibly said to salvage the situation? lol.
For future reference, if you want to ensure that I'll say yes to a date,
ask me after church in front of lots of people--
just make sure I don't get your phone number before the date :)
I apologize for not posting in what seems like forever--I refuse to be one of those bloggers who doesn't blog for months on end, so let me give you an update!
First of all, there was no Monday Lustday Post yesterday because, at the moment, there is absolutely nothing I want.
Last week, I started my new job (which I absolutely love); used my 25% off Coach coupon to buy a new Coach purse AND sunglasses; then, last night, I finally bought my new car!!
It took me a long time to figure out what I wanted, but when I saw this car I literally KNEW it was the one for me (maybe that's how I'll know when I meet the "right" guy? One can only hope! ha ha). Anyways, it's a Jeep Liberty with a fully opening roof--almost like a convertible!
My only complaint so far is that when the roof is closed and you're driving down the interstate it's pretty loud. But that's just even more reason to blare my radio, right?? ha. Like I need a reason!
Anyways, life is pretty great right now (at least until I get the first bill for my car ha ha).
