Lana Lately

Last weekend, I was able to get together with my two best friends from college.
Erin now lives in Nashville and Cassie is back home in Fort Worth,
so we rarely have the chance to see each other.

Of course, it was just like old times.
We spent hours upon hours laughing, talking, and telling stories.

When we went out to eat, we saw this:

It would be a lie if I said we didn't laugh and mock this woman.

I was sad to see them leave, but I know I'll see them again in a few months.
No matter how many miles are between us,
we are still, and always will be, very close.

For those of you who are wondering,
I made it safely to San Francisco!
My pre-op appointment is tomorrow morning and surgery will be on Wednesday.
I came early to do some touristy things
(like seeing Alcatraz and the Golden Gate Bridge),
so after surgery, be prepared for a picture post!

Hope you like my new stunna shades,
because you'll be seeing them a lot in the pictures!

I decided not to bring my favorite, Coach, sunglasses for fear of losing them in the chaos;
so I had to buy a pair here.
I found these for a whopping $1.50!
You read that right--one dollar and fifty cents!
We'll see how long they survive with me...

Until next time,
The Intelligent Blonde

  7. Anna-you are always so sweet! Thank you!

Ivana--thank you! It was an amazing weekend. I'm so glad you liked my blog and became a follower! BTW, I checked out your blog and love it!

Petchie--sometimes it's very difficult to keep in contact with friends after graduation, but with some effort from both sides, it is possible. Plus, when you move different directions, it makes for fun mini-vacations to visit them!

Bonnie--thank you! I'm so glad you stopped by and left a comment!

  8. It looks like you had a blast with your friends! I can't wait to travel after graduation and see the new places my sorority sisters will be living. Enjoy your trip! Oh, and I'm jealous of your sunglasses purchase. I think I may ask for a nice pair for Christmas!

    Love your bog! xo

  9. The foot stool is either for a blood flow or knee condition. :/

Your comments make my day!
