Awkward and Awesome Thursday

AWKWARD

Discovering that our miniature horse, Prince, is really a Princess.
Okay, that's a slight exaggeration...we just discovered he will not be able to have babies.

My incredibly chapped lips.  I cannot seem to make them feel better.
So, I went to the drugstore today and bought a new chapstick. When I opened the package, I was very disappointed to find out that it was melted. WTF?!

I called a client the other day and she said that she couldn't talk because she was going to get her dog put to sleep, so I did what any kind hearted person would do...
Me: "I'm so sorry! Please take your time and call me when you are ready."
Client: "Thank you, I'll call you back this afternoon."
Me: "Okay, have a great day."
FAIL. Freakin' force of habit, I tell you. I felt awful--of course she's not going to have a great day...

Blowing fuzes with my CHI.  Apparently when your 4 year old CHI is ready to break, it will shock the crap out of you when you plug it in and result in a loss of power.
On the bright side, at least I wasn't straightening my hair when it broke.

AWESOME

It's almost Friday! I'm so ready for the weekend. Can I get an amen?

My new CHI that will be delivered next week. I ordered it online at $99, used a 20% off coupon, and got free shipping. All in all, I paid $87 for it!

HGTV. I can seriously waste hours on end watching this channel.
Speaking of, have you seen the Property Brothers?
In my mom's word, "I'd let them remodel anything!"

  6. For starters, I'm totally in love with HGTV and I'd totally give the Property Brothers a key to my home and would have milk and cookies waiting for them each night, like they were Santa. LOL.

As for "Prince(ss)", lol, I gasped at the first .5 seconds of reading that he was really a she, lol. But the fact that you were just kidding was quite funny.

Just the comic relief I need on this beautiful Saturday morning (that I'm spending at work), lol.

Great post and blog Lana Christine!

  11. Aww I'm sure she knew you were trying to be nice! When my Chi broke I just got a no-name from Ross. I RARELY straighten my hair, so now I don't worry about it.
